On 9^th October 1987 Polish Association of Railway Enthusiasts (Polskie Stowarzyszenie Miłośników Kolei) was officially registered in Warsaw’s city hall becoming second organisation of its kind at that time in Poland. It happened 30 years ago! Therefore we would like to properly celebrate this anniversary among our fans and all those who supported us through all those years. The Engine Shed Skierniewice will be open to the public on 7^th October from 11AM to 4PM. Following attractions and events will be awaiting the visitors:

• sightseeing of the main roundhouse (guided groups starting at 11AM, 12AM, 1PM and 2PM),
• anniversary cake,
• artistic performances,
• display of train models,
• rides on the miniature train,
• railway signalling exhibition,
• exhibition “30 years of PARE”,
• exhibition of contest works “Skierniewice Engine Shed in children’s eyes”,
• promotional stand of Łódź Commuter Railway (ŁKA),
• railway emergency vehicle UNIMOG from PKP PLK,
• security display by Railway Guards,
• demonstration of digital control of railway models by Loko-Model shop,
• grilled dishes served by Atmosfera pizza house.

We would like to remind our visitors about the special offer by the Łódź Commuter Railway (ŁKA). Those travelling by ŁKA trains can return for free back to their departure point based on their one-way ticket. The only condition is to receive a special stamp in the Engine Shed. The offer is valid only during the Open Days.
