As we expand the activity of the Association, we are looking for volunteers, who would like to gain experience in:

• organization of mass events,
• renovation works of railway rolling stock and track-side equipment,
• upkeep of parkland,
• regular maintenance of buildings and general area of the engine shed.

We are also in search of volunteers with the following specialties:

• building contractor (design and engineering, building works management, investment supervision),
• electrician (with certification up to 1kV),
• operator of building equipment (preferably with own equipment like mobile crane, backhoe loader, truck transport),
• tinsmith and car-painter,
• IT (animation, mapping),
• film-makers,
• architects of light.

Polish Association of Railway Enthusiasts provides for each of the volunteers:

• volunteer agreement,
• accident insurance,
• volunteer certificate (when requested),
• overnight in touristic standard (if required),
• fully equipped kitchen for meals preparation,
• fully equipped bathroom,
• tools and protective gears.

Works in engine shed are conducted round the year. The Association does not employ any regular contractors, therefore much of the work is done solely by the Association’s members during weekends, vacations or public holidays.
