The 40^th Holiday of Flowers, Fruits and Vegetables in Skierniewice did not have luck to the weather. Despite a rain is not an unseen phenomena for this time of the year, this time a constant shower from the sky was a real challenge to attract the guests of the Holiday to visit the Shed. Nevertheless, we are happy to report 877 visitors on this day.

It is worth pointing out that our Open Day was connected with the celebration of 25^th European Days of Heritage and the end of “Summer with Steam Engines”.

Visitors could sightsee the interior of the roundhouse housing the main part of our rolling stock collection as well as the exhibition of railway signalling. A special attraction were prepared for the youngest by PKP Cargo as a part of the “Summer with Steam Engines”.

Our guests could take advantage of the special offer of Łódź Commuter Railway (ŁKA) allowing them to travel back for free to their departure station.

Catering was traditionally served by the Atmosfera pizza house.
